When first thinking about a personal project I wanted to take on, I instantly knew I wanted to do something revolving around makeup. Ever since the age of 10-11 I was aware of my light eyelashes and undefined eyebrows, makeup has been a big part of my every day life since and I couldn't love it more. 

 

Sui Generis was born when I wanted to create something that had never been done before. I am a big supporter of Indie brands - cruelty free, original, and best of all provide the most vibrant, unusual and uncommercial colours. 

 

I wanted to merge the passion I have for makeup, and unique products into an art form. Applying makeup in a classical and commerical way couldn't be more boring to me - Avant garde, creative and artistic makeup forms excite me like nothing else. Whether it be submerging a glitter covered model in a bath of flowers, or throwing paint over a human canvas to create something breathtaking, is something I will never lose passion for. 

 

Sui Generis is a display of creative works that wouldn't have been possible without the 'up-for-anything' models, the talented photograhers, and direction imput that from all involved that made my concepts come to life.
